It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 46th Australasian Transport Research Forum (ATRF) conference and the 11th Transport Knowledge Conference (TKC) combined event in Auckland, New Zealand. 

The event will be held from 18-21 November 2025 and will be co-hosted by the Transportation Research Centre of the University of Auckland and the Ministry of Transport, New Zealand.  It will bring together transport research, data and evaluation community and transport practitioners from across Australasia and beyond to share, build and maintain their transport knowledge.

The conference theme is:

The Future of Transport: Balancing Affordability and Innovation for All

Data, insight and research play a key role in supporting evidence-based decisions. The conference will examine how research helps to shape the future of mobility considering financial sustainability, equity and innovation. It will explore short, medium to long term challenges and solutions to deliver a transport system that meets the needs of current and future generations.

Our program will feature a diverse range of presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to foster healthy debate, collaboration and innovation in the field of transport research.
